Choir students James Swanson, Josh Frerking and Nick Wanner all earned spots in the All State Choir and band students Brett Paulson and Reid Wilson earned spots in the All State Band. Each student went through auditions in the Fall in order to advance to this point, as well as put in many hours of practice and preparation outside of school to get ready for this weekend. The All State Choir and All State Band consisted of private/home school students from all over the State of Texas. A couple specific notes - James Swanson was awarded a solo to open the piece "Oba Ti De" at the concert and Brett Paulson was awarded first chair Alto Saxophone after going through chair auditions on Thursday!
Mr. Palomaki and Mr. Held are extremely blessed to work with such talented students and could not be more proud of their accomplishments and how they represented God and Concordia this past weekend.
