Tomball Declares May 4th "CLHS Fine Arts Day"

In honor of a year of excellence in competition for the Fine Arts department, the City of Tomball will be honoring us with a day of recognition. You are invited to attend a short ceremony at Heritage Park near Tomball City Hall TODAY at 5:30pm as the Choir sings and Concordia receives their award. We’ve been truly blessed in TAPPS competitions this year with state championships in choir and one-act play, a 2nd place finish with academic team, and a 3rd place finish with band. God has blessed our students with a tremendous amount of talent.

Choir wins the TAPPS 5A Overall Vocal Music Championship!!

As you know this past weekend was the TAPPS 5A State Vocal Music Championships. Before we left our goal wasn’t solely to focus on winning. Our goal was to perform to the very best of our ability and to give thanks and praise to God in the process, and the rest would just come along with it. That being said, this past weekend was the best I have ever heard our choirs perform since I’ve been here. I could not be more proud of these students and what they accomplished on Saturday. TAPPS 5A State Band Championship Results

God is good! Congratulations to the CLHS Band for a 3rd place state finish. It was truly a team effort with a ton of students contributing to our point total. Thanks to all of you for your support these last few weeks. The students worked really hard over one and a half days and represented CLHS well using their God-given talents. Here are the highlights.
