2018 WORKSHOP DATES:
5:00 - 7:00 pm
Mondays: March 5, 19, 26
Tuesday: April 3
Concordia Cheerleading Workshops are open to all current 8th grade and high school students interested in trying out for the Concordia Cheerleading Program. Our workshops are designed to help bridge the gap between junior high and high school cheerleading along with helping our current high school cheerleaders prepare for the 2018-2019 tryout process. These workshops will also be beneficial to those who only participate in All-Star cheerleading in helping prepare them to the world of school/sideline cheering.
Athletes will have the opportunity to learn and work on high school skills in a safe and friendly environment with highly trained staff and current CLHS cheerleaders. Our goal is to help athletes safely become familiar with skills they will be asked to perform during our tryout process. In addition, athletes will get help and pointers on stunt technique, tumbling, fitness, and more.
Everyone is encouraged to come learn, have fun, and to get a step ahead in preparing for our tryout process.
The workshops will be held in the “Commons” area located next to our cafetorium and will be staffed by the CLHS cheerleading coaches who are AACCA certified coaches along with a few experienced college cheerleaders.
The following areas will be covered at the workshops:
