Ryan Neuhaus graduated from Texas A&M University, College Station, TX in 1999. Then he and his wife, Jill, moved to St. Louis, Mo where he attended and graduated from Concordia Theological Seminary with a MDIV in 2005. Ryan’s first call was to be a missionary at large in Buda, Texas with his best friend Rev. Paul Goeke . There these two men worked full-time in the community while planting The Well Lutheran Church. While being a Pastor at The Well, Ryan worked at Home Depot for a year, and then the Lord opened up a position for Ryan in the Hays Consolidated School District. There he taught in Life Skills for a year, Economics and Government for three, and he spent two years teaching at-risk elementary students social and leadership skills. Ryan joined Concordia Lutheran High School in the summer of 2012. Ryan and his wife, Jill, have three children – Jane, Adele, and Vincent.

What do you love about Concordia Lutheran High School, and why are you here?

I love that we process life "in the gospel".  Life is not perfect and neither is Concordia, so it is a joy that we can take everything that happens (good, bad, and ugly) to the "cross", and let His death and resurrection inform how we need to respond to whatever life throws our way.  I love that God has assembled a staff that loves him and seeks to bring him glory in all that they do!

What do you love about Jesus?
I love that Jesus is willing to love me and the rest of the "world".  Though I am not perfect he loves me "Just As I Am", but he loves me too much to leave me there!  Jesus loves me enough to redeem, renew, remake, and resurrect the dead parts of my life, so I can live out my purpose of being and image-bearer of Him.

When I have free time I enjoy...

hanging with my family, duck hunting, fishing, sports, and just about anything outdoors.
