COVID-19 Updates

Concordia Lutheran High School continues to monitor the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as it affects our ministry. The health and safety of our community is always the top priority. We are taking a proactive and prudent approach to contingency plans that will protect our community while providing the least disruption possible to our students, faculty, and staff. We will continue to communicate with you on a regular basis as we monitor the situation.

Concordia is still accepting applications for new students for 2020-2021. For specific information for Prospective New Students on how we can serve you during this time, CLICK HERE.

Concordia classes are happening online with no students on campus. We are blessed to have a great eLearning plan in place utilizing many different platforms such as Google Classroom and Zoom among many others. No extracurricular activities will take place through Friday, May 1st.

Given the daily changes of this situation, we ask that you monitor CLHS emails, text alerts, social media channels, and webpage for the most up to date information. The administration is working closely with faculty and staff to finalize a plan for completely the rest of the semester with the least amount of disruption to students' courses of study. The COVID-19 situation will be evaluated weekly to make decisions on a return to classes being held on campus.

All of us should adhere to the guidelines established by the CDC for preventing the contraction and spread of COVID-19, including frequent washing of hands, using alcohol-based hand sanitizer, practicing social distancing, and seeking immediate medical care if experiencing any of the symptoms associated with COVID-19.

We understand that there are those in our community who have traveled out of the area during spring break or have been in close contact with those who have traveled. CLHS requires a 14 day self-quarantine by all employees and students who have traveled to CDC Level 3 countries (Austria, Belgium, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, England, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Wales, Monaco, San Marino, Vatican City) and Level 2 countries (Japan).
