What do you love about Concordia Lutheran High School, and why are you here?

I love that so many talented people from so many different backgrounds have been brought together for what is essentially a team ministry. We're flawed people and the devil works hard to try to turn us against one another. In spite of those setbacks, Concordia is fertile ground, where seeds of faith, learning, and relationships are being planted and nurtured daily. We may only get to see a portion of the fruits produced, but great are happening at Concordia.  I'm at Concordia because right now I feel that this is the place that the Lord wants me to be. I have a skill set that seems to fit well with my job description. I also feel very much a part of the friendship and the family that make up our staff.

What do you love about Jesus?

Admittedly, I'm an unlovable screw-up, but Jesus Christ has lived the perfect life that I couldn't live and taken on the punishment that I deserved. So when the average observer looks at me, they see an unlovable screw-up. When God looks at me, He sees only the righteousness of His Son, and all my sins, my guilt, and my fears melt away. God has even found ways for me, that unlovable screw-up, to minister to His people and further His kingdom here on earth. I'm constantly humbled and amazed by the grace that I receive daily, but it's not a fluke. It's not a lucky break. It's a reality.

When I have free time I enjoy...

Free time? (Just kidding!) When I do have free time, I like to draw and work on personal art projects, walk my dog, work out, travel, hang out with friends, visit family, cook, read, or watch movies.
