What do you love about Concordia Lutheran High School, and why are you here?

I love working with the people who are here!  Since the Fall of 1994, I have seen numerous students, as well as some faculty and staff, come and go.  I once worked with a friend who left Concordia.  I have never forgotten his words to me after he left, “You don’t know how good it is at Concordia until you leave!”  When I accepted the call to Concordia, I believe I was called here to make a difference in the lives of the students, by simply being a tool in God’s hand.  I hope and pray that whether it has been a Mister Rogers' Chapel or a normal day while walking down the hall, and through everything in between, God has accomplished His will in this place.

What do you love about Jesus?

I love that our God is bigger than anything that has happened to us in the past, bigger than anything that we are dealing with now, and bigger than anything that can happen to us in the future!  Because of Jesus’ death and resurrection, we always have hope, the hope of eternal life with Him in heaven.

When I have free time I enjoy...

Spending time with the family in our boat on the water.  I rarely miss an opportunity to water ski or wakeboard.  I will go wakeboarding at a wake park if a boat driver is not available.  I also enjoy being with family at our ranch, which includes hunting, target shooting, and archery.  My newest hobby is zip-lining!
