40 out of 45 Engineering Students Accepted into Dual Enrollment Program

Earlier this year, all 45 students from the Principles of Applied Engineering classes submitted an application to the University of Texas at Austin and the University of Texas at San Antonio for dual enrollment through the Engineer Your World program.

Students had to submit a 2,000-word essay along with pictures of their process for developing a pinhole camera for persons with limited hand dexterity. 40 of the 45 students in the class were granted acceptance letters to University of Texas to earn college credit for the spring semester in the program.

In the middle of November, these students showcased their pinhole cameras for local engineers and dignitaries in the community. We are proud of these students and Concordia strives to provide academic opportunities that offer real-world application.
