Dear Concordia Families,
We pray that this correspondence finds your family well as we are in the Advent season. We are thankful for the opportunity to have this special time for family and the celebration of the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. With the new semester and opportunities upon us following Christmas break and for the remainder of the school year, we enter into a season of communicating plans for the life and ministry of Concordia Lutheran High School into the future, specifically for the 2025-2026 school year. While we are thrilled to be celebrating the class of 2025 graduating in May, we are also actively planning for the future of students and families well into the future. This includes establishing a vibrant new strategic plan for our next five years, a prayerful analysis of resource stewardship to sustain and propel student centered endeavors, and reflecting on how we are attentive to the mission aligned partnership, trust, and voice of our valued families.
If you were an enrolled family at Concordia last school year, you took part in a newly implemented “continuous enrollment” process. The data and feedback we received in this process last year has affirmed the continuation of this platform moving forward. Below, please find additional information regarding information related to continuous enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. As your family continues to faithfully place your trust and resources in the education and transformational growth of your student(s) at Concordia, it is our desire to provide appropriate transparency in partnership. In light of this, school leadership, under the direction and support of the board of directors, has prayerfully set tuition rates for the 2025-2026 school year to sustain, grow, and deliver on our commitment to transformational excellence.
As we faithfully consider how we pursue our mission of Building Lives of Excellence Upon the Foundation of Christ, we annually recommit to how this is boldly executed across campus. This includes instituting next level standards in practice, upholding accountability in delivery, and increasing operational efficiencies across campus. This is a God honoring excellence that seeks to strengthen our students in the development of their faith and to confidently prepare them for a Christian life of service, purpose, and leadership in a global society. In this pursuit, we hold the engagement we have with each family in high regard and we value your voice and perceptions for the sake of reflective growth opportunities and the affirmation of current practices.
During the spring of this school year, a schoolwide survey platform will be distributed to your family so that we may further reflect on and study the collective voice of our families within the context of our enrollment relationship. Beyond the opportunity to contribute through this survey instrument, please reach out to Head of School, Mr. Todd Eklund, should you have a desire to engage dialogue about Concordia's future and your family's position.
May the peace of the Lord reside with your family during this season.
For His Glory,
Todd Eklund
Head of School
