Latest on 2026-2027 Tuition

We are enjoying the start to this current school year while also planning for the 2026-2027 academic year is in full swing. For example, the financial leadership team and the Board of Directors’ Finance Committee are utilizing a five-year strategic financial plan that will provide the Board of Directors and CLHS Administration guidance as they consider staffing levels, faculty and staff compensation, construction funding, tuition, and other vital activities.

As we look toward the holiday season, we have some VERY important information to share with you on four important topics. Please read this entire page by clicking on the four collapsible content headers listed below. We will also send reminders and updates over the next couple of months.

1. Letter from the Head of School

Dear Concordia Families,

We pray this message finds you well during the Advent season as we prepare to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we look ahead to the second semester and begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we remain focused on strengthening the mission and ministry of Concordia Lutheran High School.

As we pursue our mission of Building Lives of Excellence Upon the Foundation of Christ, we remain dedicated to high standards, institutional accountability, and operational efficiency. We seek to prepare students for lives of faith, service, and leadership, and we value the insight and engagement of our families in this shared work.

In prayerful reflection of tuition rates and their relationship to the meeting operational and ministry needs and realities over the past year, we have been blessed with the opportunity to analyze and calibrate our five year strategic plan to provide for ongoing Christ-centered and student focused initiative alignment and growth. Additionally, we have conducted a careful review of resource stewardship, and continue to build a strong partnership with our families in consideration of the benefit of a Concordia education. In this spirit, we continue to embrace the voice of our community, and a full annual cycle of our parent survey ecosystem has proven to provide valuable and applicable feedback that has been directly injected into the context of our future plans.

Year two of our continuous enrollment process also proved to be positive, and we will continue this process moving forward. Below, you will find new information relevant to continuous enrollment for the 2026–2027 school year. With gratitude for your trust and investment in your student’s education, we strive to maintain transparency as we plan for the future. In alignment with the Board of Directors, school leadership has prayerfully set tuition rates for the coming school year to support our commitment to our core values through a high-quality, Christ-centered education.

2. Continuous Enrollment

For the past two years, Concordia has used a continuous enrollment model. This meant that if your student was enrolled at Concordia, he or she would automatically be enrolled for next year (and each year thereafter until graduation).

With the implementation of our new MyCLHS portal, we will now be utilizing the integrated re-enrollment contracts. You will be assigned a re-enrollment contract in the spring. Your contract must be signed for your student to roll over to the next school year and make course selections. This is a very quick and easy process, so with your cooperation we will still reap the below benefits of a continuous enrollment process.

Families no longer need to repeat the tedious and time-consuming enrollment process each year.
Returning students’ class schedules can be completed sooner, as our academic counseling department will have a clearer idea earlier this Spring of who will be returning.
Business office operations will become more efficient and responsive to family account questions, as basic family and payment information will not need to be updated each year.

With the completion of your re-enrollment contract, families will be billed Registration of $1,000. $500 will be added to your March billing, and $500 will be added to your April billing. Reminder, these fees are non-refundable.

3. 2026-2027 Tuition

The Board of Directors approved a tuition rate for the 2026-2027 school year of $22,800.

This rate of increase is based on a financial model that links tuition rates to increases in faculty and staff compensation, additional program resources, overall inflation, and planning for the future financial health of Concordia. All of this is considered in partnership with a school-wide strategic plan focused on next level standards of practice and campus-wide operational efficiencies.

4. Accessing A Concordia Education

As tuition rises each year, we continue to make significant investments to make Concordia accessible for a wide socio-economic spectrum of families.

Our financial model is intentionally designed to provide access to students whose families cannot afford the full amount of tuition, and about 40% of our students receive some form of Tuition Assistance. The recently endorsed five-year financial plan builds on that ministry priority, increasing budgeted aid proportionally with tuition.

In order for your family to know whether you qualify for Tuition Assistance and how your tuition may be affected PRIOR TO continuous enrollment, the following timeline is paramount:

Click HERE for all of the information needed to set up your Tuition Assistance account in Blackbaud. You can set up your account and submit your application beginning on December 12, 2025.
Complete your Tuition Assistance application and upload 2024 tax information requested by Blackbaud by Friday, January 12.
- If you do not have your application completed by January 12, 2026 you are still welcome to apply, but your application will not be considered in the priority phase, and you may not know your actual tuition before enrollment fees are billed in early March.
- Keep in mind that if a family waits to apply for Tuition Assistance, fewer budgeted funds will be available and applications for new families may have begun to be considered.
Once the Tuition Assistance Committee has reviewed the application report from Blackbaud, your family will receive an email notification through the Blackbaud system as to the amount of your award, if you qualify.
Should your family qualify for need-based Tuition Assistance, the notification will give you three options:

- - - Accept the award
    - Decline the award
    - Appeal the decision

Once you have accepted an award, your 2026-2027 tuition will be updated in the Tuition Management system, and your student will be automatically enrolled for next year.

If your family has not applied or qualified for Tuition Assistance in the past, but you are concerned that rising tuition may affect your ability to afford a Concordia education, we welcome your Blackbaud application by the priority deadline January 12, 2026!
