I love the small school atmosphere of Concordia!  I love that it provides opportunities for students to participate in a variety of activities with the chance to be successful at them.  I originally came to Concordia for selfish reasons, namely, to get my own children into a Christian school.  Looking back, I would do it all over again.  Both of my kids have had success in Academics and Athletics and I believe they will both be very well prepared for college as a result of the education they received at Concordia Lutheran High School.

I love Jesus because I don't have to live up to His standard of perfection, to be loved by Him.  His love for me is unconditional, in spite of my shortcomings and imperfections and no matter how often I continue to mess up, He continues to forgive me and welcome me back.  No one else in all creation offers me what my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ has in store for me, both now and in the life to come!

I enjoy my free time by spending time with my family!  We enjoy watching movies together, camping out at the Frio River in the summer, playing, coaching and watching football in the fall, hunting deer and dove during the winter months, making sausage at our yearly family reunion in February and running and coaching track during the spring.  All of these activities give us the opportunity to spend time together and that is what gives me the most joy, apart from my faith in Christ Jesus.
